On December 9, the ICC Central Center under the Korea University Sejong LINC3.0 Foundation held the '2024 Regional-University Corporate Support Project Performance Sharing Event' at the Sejong Job and Economy Promotion Agency. This event, co-hosted by the Sejong Youth Center and Sejong City, was successfully conducted with great participation.
The performance-sharing event was designed as a specialized talent development program to support the growth of outstanding regional companies through collaboration between universities, businesses, local governments, and related organizations. It also aimed to provide students with practical experience and foster entrepreneurial awareness.
Students proposed detailed and practical solutions to various themes, including enhancing brand awareness, developing global expansion strategies, promoting consumer engagement and trust, and supporting the sustainable growth of local companies.
Presentations were structured in the order of problem definition, main activities, and anticipated outcomes. Through this approach, students demonstrated their ability to analyze issues faced by regional companies and propose viable solutions, highlighting their potential for making meaningful contributions.
Professor Yoo Jaehyun of the center stated, "This event provided a valuable opportunity for students to directly engage in resolving corporate issues, enhancing their practical skills, and exploring the potential for mutual development through collaboration with local companies. We hope the ideas and cooperative models generated through the performance-sharing event will serve as a stepping stone for regional economic growth."
This project was conducted over three sessions, during which the students' problem-solving processes and final outcomes were shared with local governments and related organizations.
