On December 11, Korea University Sejong Campus held a ‘Performance Exhibition for Financial Support and National Projects’ at the Courtyard By Marriott Sejong.

 

This exhibition, organized in collaboration with Sejong City, showcased and disseminated the outcomes of 11 financial support and national projects carried out by Korea University Sejong Campus. The event coincided with the transition to the ‘Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System (RISE).’

 

The event was attended by prominent figures, including Vice President Kim Young of Korea University Sejong Campus, Deputy Mayor Lee Seungwon for Economic Affairs of Sejong City, Chairman Kim Jindong of the Sejong Chamber of Commerce and Industry, officials from the Ministry of Education, researchers from Sejong Technopark and national research institutes in Sejong City, and representatives from Korea University of Media Arts and Hongik University Sejong Campus. Additionally, representatives from partner companies, Korea University family companies, and about 250 key faculty members from Sejong Campus participated.

 

The exhibition featured the participation of 11 project groups, including the Biological Clock-Based Anti-Aging Convergence RLRC(Regional-Leading Research Center), the Sejong Eco Industry Convergence and Open Sharing Center, the Sejong Startup Support Center, the Sejong Center for Human Resources Development, the Sejong LINC3.0 Foundation, the Sejong SW Central University Foundation, the Smart City Intelligent Healthcare Research Center, the Edge Cloud Data Security Research Center, the Advanced Semiconductor Process Equipment Human Resource Development Foundation, the RIS Autonomous Driving Foundation, and the KUS University Innovation Foundation. Each project group showcased their key achievements, highlighting contributions to regional community and industry development through collaboration with Sejong City.

 

Vice President Kim stated, "As we approach the transition to the Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System (RISE), we will strive to foster sustainable growth through collaboration between the university and the local government."
